Well, there I am.  Took a lot to post that picture on this blog lol.  I think it might be smarter to put a watermark on these pictures…just in case   Anyways, here you see the lower half of my face!  So, I go by Sensico whenever I’m online.  Though, there is another person named Sensico online but they aren’t as important.  I am a biology student looking to do research in the field of marine sciences.  Just so everyone knows, my favorite marine mammal is the Sea Otter.  My favorite fish is the Hagfish.  Right now I’m most/still fascinated with the Ciguatoxin cause by a dinoflagellate.  It causes food illness most vulnerable to those living in the tropics and those that eat reef fish or fish like barracuda.  Don’t worry if you have it cause the symptoms of the illness will last for weeks (if you’re lucky) or it can last for over 15 years! Anyways, I have two cats and two turtles.  I love knowing the details about most living things as I think they are all important and helpful in understanding how the world works.  Though, I have a great lack of interest in studying sharks, whales, and dolphins.  Something about them screams, “saw it already!”.  Sorry, but these animals have been over saturated with exposure when there’s so many other equally important animals to study.

I like to talk a lot about myself (if you haven’t noticed already!) but I would rather listen/read about other peoples lives cause mine is rather bland and consists of me thinking a lot about life rather then actually doing a lot.  A normal day for me includes sex, drugs, and rock & roll…um…not, but that’s more interesting and fun sounding.  In reality, I spend a normal day on the computer blogging or doing random things, reading science magazines and scholarly articles, playing with my pets, starring out the window, starring at myself in the mirror, listening to music, and thinking about random things pertaining to life of course!

I rarely watch TV now and when I do I usually stick to cable news, C-SPAN, and occasionally BET to keep up with the young folks and their music As far as music goes, I tend to listen to anything I think sounds good.  But, my most preferred music choice is electronica, this is my electronica country preferences besides American:  French > Japaneses >Spanish anything>>>>other Euro countries lol.  Yeah, something about most electronica music labeled “Euro” seems to be off the mark as far as good music is concerned, somehow the French were able to break from that trending disaster.  I don’t read novels or actual books that I don’t have to read.  Especially if theres a movie version of the book.  I only like reading science-y books.  Just to show I’m not a complete flake, here are some books that I read and liked. Welp *shugs* thats my long list of non-science-y books that I have read and enjoyed.  By the way, I was completely ok with reading The Birds, but once I saw the movie I was freaking out.  That has to be one the of the scariest movies I’ve seen.  I preferred The Time Machine movie both versions over the actual book, but the book was still good.  For what it’s worth I attempted to read Lord of the Flies but once The Simpsons did their own version of the book, then I was satisfied and didn’t read it

On to my personalty.  I’m quite awkward in person especially to strangers though once people get to know me, I’m more outspoken and a little less awkward.  I and others seem to think I lack whats called “street smarts”.  Which is kind of questionable.  I wonder around by myself most of the time and I seem to survive and have little problems even though I lack “street smarts”.  I’m an only child and I love it.  I never wear makeup except an occasional lip gloss because I feel icky with makeup on.  Also, I like the idea of being a natural beauty   I laugh a lot at people.  I think most people take things way too seriously.  I hate when people lose something and then they are all frantic.  It’s like chill the hell out and find it, cause whining about it isn’t going to make it appear, ya’ know.

Well, I sure do like to talk/type about myself.  Oh well, sorry for the misleading title.  My goal was to write a little about myself…not a-lot!!  I think I have more I want to write, but I wouldn’t want to continue to bore all of you.  Anyways, enjoy the blog which entailes my life and a lot of randomness in between.  Here’s my theme song, until I have feel something different,
