Making Money With Fiverr

Since I’m not working as much, I’m getting the opportunity to see what I’ve been missing online as of late.  Lately, I’ve been using Fiverr to rake in a little bit of spending money.  I’m pretty surprised I’ve sold gigs this fast and maintaining a positive rating.

The premise is that you create micro jobs that you think are worth $5.  A customer buys your gig and you get money, simple and easy.  But there are a few tips on being successful.  I wrote a helpful guide on my hubpage account called, “How to be Successful on Fiverr“.  I list out tips to help people succeed.  Unfortunately, fiverr is flooded with a lot of gigs and not everyone is successful because they don’t take the time do some simple tasks to make their account marketable.

The type of gigs I create (can view them here) are actually worth $5 and related to either word processing or online marketing.  I chose these gigs because I’m always on the computer and can finish a gig within a couple hours.  So far I’ve gotten positive ratings and I’m happy because I really try to provide the best end product to buyers.

I like the idea of sites like fiverr because they enable people without start up money to get into working for themselves.  I’ve always been an advocate of being self-employed or at least making money off of your talent or skills.  I highly recommend using a micro job site, especially one like fiverr, it’s legit and pays.  People have made anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars on fiverr and if you sell 10 gigs, then you get to charge more for your gigs.
