What Old Man StruttinThatAss Might Have Meant
First here’s the video of Old Man StruttinThatAss….struttin that ass….
So, old man struttinthatass may seem crazy to you but he makes a god damn valid point about our society. He is telling us what we need to hear.
Interpretation: “struttin that ass” represents a pompous individual that is uppity and think they’re better than others.
First, he’s saying that we as a society are running to get places when we all just need to learn to take our time. Classic hare versus turtle story. In the end, who wins? Those that run, fight, step on the little guy to get to the top? Or does the person that takes their time, cherishes life, and appreciate others? If we’re all going to end up at the finish line in the end, why run? Just enjoy the journey it’ll take to get there. We need to start walking…not running.
Next, those of us with the ability to drive cars think they’re better and fancier then those who have to walk. People who think they’re better need to put themselves in his shoes and walk to get where they need to be. We as a society have become lazy, those of us that don’t have to struggle everyday couldn’t last a day (or strut that ass for 10miles) in their shoes. So, we need to appreciate life and instead of running we need to walk.
So, Old Man StruttinThatAss may have said it in a bad and loud way, but the message is clear.
Actually, a lot of people work in the armory near Guntersville, AL and city government in Hunstville, AL stopped service of the bus route. I was really interested in this guy and where he’s from after I saw the video. New Hope, AL is about halfway between Huntsville and Guntersville. If you google map directions, it’s 37.8 miles. This guy was pretty much right. Also, Antoine Dodson is from the same town.
