School is over, the quick update is that I failed Calculus 2. I was taking the exam and thought, why the f*ck am I even trying, then I just turned in my half-ass exam and walked out. I think I did decent on my Spanish final enough to pass the class. It was waaay easier than I thought. On Friday I took my biology exam which was sooooo hard. I know final exams are usually supposed to be hard, but c’mon. The multiple choice was ok but the short answers were a killer.
After my exam my teacher talked about next semester, if you haven’t read before, I’ll be volunteering in the lab. But, since I’ve already told my secret to like 3 people who probably don’t visit this blog, I might as well say my surprise is that I’ll be a research assistant next summer. It’s my first career related job and I’m sooo excited. My teacher talked about when it would start and how she is thinking about placing me on a different research project then we once discussed. The old project which I was kinda (maybe not) looking forward to was slicing open and looking at fish guts to see what organisms we find. Now the new research is doing water analysis for a project involving beaches. The research is really important for water safety for beach goers. The current system for monitoring e coli on beaches is not the best. Anyways, whatever project I’ll be working on, I’ll be happy to do it…I’m an undergraduate…we’re always happy to do things like this. It’s an opportunity to get work experience, make contacts and have fun. So, that’s my secret, I knew many of you had already knew or guessed it but I wanted to make it official.
So now that classes are over for this short amount of time, I’ve been getting lazy again. Oh, and I did do that pampering myself thing that I said I would, but I decided not to do the waxing thing. It hurts, I’d rather have someone else do it or use the other method of shaving. I don’t have many pictures except this picture of bubbles. I actually haven’t taken a bath in a long time, I’m more of shower person. I thought it was so cool how my boobs float to the surface lol ahhhh…the things that amuse me
So, now that I have nothing to keep me preoccupied during the day, I think I’ve gone crazy. I decided to create a new fad and even did my own photo-shoot for said fad. I call it OculAirs because I couldn’t think of anything else. All you do is put a headband over your eyes. It’s pretty cool and makes you look mysterious.
So, would you like to join me in being part of the OculAirs movement/fad? It’s going to be extremely popular. Hopefully Rihanna will read this post and think, ooooh that bish is cool, I wanna rock those. You seen ‘em here first people. And the cool part about this is that you also are showing versatility, because you can still use it as a headband.
It’s my cat’s fault as to why I have that expression on my face, but aye…you get the point
So, be apart of my new fad and don’t do this whilst driving or walking across the street.
Anyways, see ya later, have fun and be cool by wearing your OculAirs
ZOMGRESEARCH!Ahem … it’s great that you’ll be working stuff you like, especially if it does good to others. People here are rather careless about beaches and rivers.
The OculAirs thing reminds me of Geordi La Forge. If Rihanna chooses to use those on stage, I hope that she’ll at least cut a couple of holes in them so she can see, or else it will result in a hilarious YouTube video.
Now … you gotta put some effort into those math-thingies. I know someone in college who took the same basic math class over eight times (withdrawing from them instead of waiting to fail). You don’t want to follow the Numbered Brick Road so many times, do you?
ZOMGICANTWAITya know, I was soooo not going for the StarTrek look but I do like vintage.
And I hate math, I doubt I’ll be taking it for a third or eight times…that’s crazy. And stop being cheesy, Numbered Brick Road lol, is your new hobby revamping slogans
I can’t help it. Being cheesy is all I’ve got
well you could be cooler if you rocked a pair of OculAirs, then your cheesyness will not be noticed by the masses.
btw, I like when you’re cheesy
hahaha I’m sorry Sensi, but I don’t think the OculAirs will catch on.. Maybe for star trek fans, I dunno. But congrats on that research job, slice them fishies up nice.
P.S. I forgive you for being a twitter’er, but I refuse to join the madness!
OculAirs will catch on, you just watch!! And thank you, I shall do all that’s required of my job, the world has spoken…they want me to be greatness.
Yeah, yeah, that’s what most people say before they join twitter. Soon you and Omar will become twitter’s next victims/addicts
Congratulations!! So we’ll have a research assistant friend from US. That’s cool. Maybe we can research a common subject in a interdisciplinary project. Let me think about it …Hmmmm.. No, there’s not any
Thank you and yeah, I don’t see how our fields of study connect. Unless you want to see if fish can fly at the speed of light
reminded me of Geordi La Forge.. haha.. i guess a lot of people got that too.. all the best with that research thingie.. i hope it doesnt offent La Forge..
OcuLaAirs?? ermm.. i think i miss typed. gosh im growing old..
La Forge wishes he had OculAirs for those days he wanted to sleep at work w/o getting in trouble
Heey Sensi!! Happy Holidays!!! You must feel so relieved that the exams are over! Too bad, you didn’t pass math, but you will do it good next time. I’m not a bath person myself…I feel kinda stupid just sitting in the tub -_-’. Haha! I think you made a wise decision to leave the waxing (Brazilian wax??) to someone else…
And nice fad ^_^!! You can also wear it across your forehead! But maybe it has to be a bit smaller for that?
yeah, I actually stopped with the baths and went back to the shower lol. I was able to shave myself with a normal shaving thing and Nair. Now I’m smoother and hairless on important parts of my body.
I did try the across the forehead thing but it looked too sily
COOL about the secret.
WEIRD about OculAirs….
But then what else would I expect from you?
Thank you, and trendsetters are always weird at first but we usually get kudos later on. You’ll be wearing them soon, my friend…
I’m usually two years behind on trends, so SOON is not quite the right word!
