Nope, Not A Halloween Post
Well, here’s THE post…the one featuring video of my turtles. I don’t want to upstage anyone’s turtle but, ay, this is show-business lol. On the last post I wrote that I’m not doing a Halloween post because it’s highly unnecessary, so this picture/video post is replacing that. First, pictures!
And that’s only a small portion of my school. Look closely you can see the Renaissance Center. Just checked out this TiltShift generator, does this look tilted and shifted?
Now, what you’ve all been waiting for…a video of my turtles trying to catch fish. Of course they never catch the fish while I’m video taping them. The video runs slow for me after youtube processing but hopefully you’ll let it load before actually playing it….
This next video is random and I wouldn’t recommend watching it if you’re prone to seizures or have something else better to do.
Hope you enjoyed my non-Halloween post and if you didn’t…..

The shot does look a bit tilt-shiftish. Ideally, the original image should be taken from bird’s-eye view (try going to a high point and aiming down!).
I like the color of the school images, seems as if it were about to rain. I’ll have to
stealborrow those green tones for city shots, if I ever make them. The turtle video does take a while to load, and my connection sucks, so I’ll have to watch it later!
Your favorite drink is … Gatorade?
How do you borrow green tones, and it doesn’t look green to me. And it did rain that day, right when I went outside the parking structure it started sprinkling. I’ll have to take another picture one day and park on the top of the structure. Though I’ll feel weird, people looking at me thinking I’m weird taking pictures, ya know lol.
The turtle video loads faster for me
know, just admit you don’t want to see the competition your turtles are up against! And my favorite drink is Gatorade, how’d you know that?!Hmm … the green thing might just be my eyes. It looks green, leaning towards blue. By borrowing, I mean that I’ll do color adjustments to match those of your photo. Although there is a GIMP filter that takes colors from one image and puts them on another, but I won’t use that.
Don’t worry about people looking at you. I’ve been pointed at and talked about and I’ve stopped caring about what they might be thinking of my picture-taking. Most they’ll think is “Oh, look. A
spyphotographer!”.Those poor fish in the video never had a chance. Expect a call from PETA!
or you could just have really good eyes, my eyes are bad and I really have little to no experience telling hues or tones apart. It’s like telling the difference between green and blue-green to me.
I was thinking more like people would think I’m a terrorist. Though it would be cool to look like a hipster “photog”
, they get all the chicks. You can call PETA and direct them to my Care-O-Meter lol
